Setting up Netscape Mail to work with SpoonProxy
In SpoonProxy, map ports 110 in and out to the IP address of your POP3 server. And mapport 25 in and out to the IP of your SMTP server. (To find the IP address of your mailserver, ping its "friendly name" from the DOS prompt on a connected machine,i.e. c:\ping pophost.myisp.com.)
It should look like the following screenshot.
To get to the screen below, select Preferences off the Edit Menu in NetscapeCommunicator.
In the Mail server user name field, enter your account name, for example if your mailaccount is email@example.com you would enter "support".
In the Outgoing mail (SMTP) server and Incoming mail server fields, enter the INTERNALIP address of the machine you run SpoonProxy on.
