Setting Up Netscape
to work with SpoonProxy
There is no need to configure SpoonProxy to
make your browser work. The default settings come preloaded.
However, you do need to make a couple quick
changes to your browser. The different version numbers of
Netscape have somewhat different ways of accessing the proxy settings.
Netscape 3.x
Under Tools, select Network Preferences and
then the proxies tab, which will bring up the following screen:

Select the radio button for Manual Proxy Configuration
and then click view, which brings up the proxy settings screen.
Enter the default values as shown below. Important:
In the address of proxy to use field, use the INTERNAL IP address
of the machine you are running SpoonProxy on:

Netscape
4.x
Under Edit tab, select Preferences and then
click the plus sign of the "advanced tab" to reach the
proxy configuration controls as show below:

Select the radio button for Manual Proxy Configuration
and then click view, which brings up the proxy settings screen.
Enter the default values as shown below. Important:
In the address of proxy to use field, use the INTERNAL IP address
of the machine you are running SpoonProxy on:
